SPECTRUM
Spectrum Autistic Support Group meet at the Lord Hill Hotel, Shrewsbury, every 1st Thursday of the month from 8.00pm onwards.
We are a friendly parent led group there to support parents and carers of children with Aspergers Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour, although a formal diagnosis is not essential to become a member.
Professionals in the field are also welcome to attend.
As well as support meetings, we regularly organise low key social events for the whole family and much needed evenings out for the parents.
We also have regular speakers on relevant subjects.
Previously we have had speakers on anger management, sensory issues, dentistry care, plus staff from Autism West Midlands, Parent Partnership and Woodlands Outreach, The Acorn Service which have been very well attended and provided lots of helpful information and advice.
