Shropshire All Age Carers Strategy Consultation

Currently Shropshire Council are consulting on a draft All Age Carers Strategy.  PACC has worked with the Carers Partnership Board to co-produce this draft, based on feedback gathered from the Shropshire Parent Carer Community via our Mad, Sad, Glad Survey and Parent Carer Wellbeing Survey.

The draft does recognise Parent Carers as a distinct group, with unique needs but we would like to see a greater focus on meeting the needs of Parent Carers in the actions identified as part of the strategy.  PACC has produced a response to the consultation identifying specific actions that would offer support to Parent Carers and improve their caring experience.  You can read this here
