Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Learning Disability and Autism Programme Draft Vision
22/04/2021
PACC has been providing parent carer representation on the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Learning Disability Programme Board for the past 12 months. It has been a busy 12 months with a national focus on improving learning disability and autism services and ensuring that people of all ages, from these communities receive the right support. As part of this work PACC has supported the development of a draft vision for this programme locally. It is important that there is a clear statement about what learning disability and autism services will work to achieve in Shropshire and how they will do that.
The draft vision has been developed following discussions with a range of representatives from the Learning Disability and Autism community and practitioners who provide support to these communities. The draft vision is now available for wider comment and feedback and we hope if you are a parent carer of a child or young person with learning disability or autism, you will take a look at the draft document and tell us what you think.
You can read more about the draft vision here. There is also a short survey on this link that you can complete to share your views. If you would like to talk about the draft vision in more detail please email enquiries@paccshropshire.org.uk and this can be arranged.
