Filming Project Opportunity

PACC and The Hive have come together on an exciting project to create a short film about things to do in Shrewsbury for young adults with a Learning Disability and / or Autism, called 'Lets Go out'.  This is in response to the work that PACC is doing to support preparation for adulthood and recognises the importance of all young people being able to access their local community and to develop a social network.  This is the first stage of this project and initially will focus on Shrewsbury but if it is sucessful offers the opportunity to develop 'Lets Go Out' films for other areas in Shropshire. 

The project also offers an opportunity for young people with a Learning Disability and / or Autism (16-30) to be part of the film production team, learning new skills and developing any existing interest they might have media or creative studies.  We are running a taster session for the project on the 31st October at The Hive, for further information about how to book on to this session see the flyer here  If you have any questions please contact Sal at The Hive on 01743 234970 or email sal@hiveonline.org.uk
