The Shropshire Local Offer
The Shropshire Local Offer
The SEND local offer is a single place for information, services, and resources for children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and / or disabilities, their families, and the practitioners who support them. It's been designed with a family’s needs at the heart of the process. Having access to good quality information to help you understand the world of SEND is really important when making decisions about your child's life.

The Shropshire SEND Newsletter
Shropshire Council, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the Parent and Carer Council (PACC) jointly came together to create the Shropshire SEND Newsletter. The newsletter started during the first lockdown and aimed to provide easy access to key information for SEND families during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as an opportunity for parent carers to hear from each other about their experiences.
Since the end of lockdown the newsletter has continued and now provides a range of information, including upcoming activities, details of changes to services, opportunties to participate in consultations and co-production activity and stories from the Shropshire SEND community. You can find back copies of the newsletter here If you subscribe to follow the Shropshire Local Offer you will be sent details of each newsletter as they are issued.
