Save the Date: Shropshire SEND Community Games & Local Offer Live Event 2017

Save the Date - PACC will be hosting the second Shropshire SEND Community Games and Local Offer Live Event on the 24th September 2017.  PACC is  pleased to announce that we are able to run this event again, in partnership with Shropshire Council and with the support of Derwen College and Walford & North Shropshire College.  This year the event will be hosted at Walford & North Shropshire College’s Walford Campus SY4 2HL, just outside of Shrewsbury. We hope to build on the success of last year’s event.

There will be three zones at this years event;

Empower Zone – This is the information area, with stands and information about SEND services and a chance to meet SEND practitioners

Experience Zone – In this area you can meet Shropshire SEND ‘All In’ providers and try out a range of activities.  Each young person who visits the event will be provided with an activity passport and when 5 activities have been tried they will be awarded a ‘Shropshire SEND Community Game’s Superstar’ medal, presented by one of our sporting VIP guests.  There will also be demonstrations from local SEND clubs to enjoy.

Inspire Zone – Here you will be able to listen to SEND speakers sharing their experiences, as well as viewing a display of work and photographs celebrating what children and young people with SEND are achieving in Shropshire.

The day will start at 10am and will run until 3pm, entry is free and the campus canteen will be open for refreshments.  Put the date in your diary and join us for a SEND celebration!
